Red is a Southerner born and bred. His approach to writing definitely reflects this. He doesn’t just play a redneck online, he is one. He currently resides in N.E. Louisiana and currently does jewelry and chainmaille design semi-professionally. He has had a broad range of work experience ranging from working in cotton gins, driving long haul truck for several years, managing several 1950’s themed restaurants, and working as Lead Admin. for a large software company in Southern California. He has taken much of this experience and incorporated elements into his work.
The first story he wrote, “Hit the Shower”, was published in FANG 1 in 2005. He has since then continued to explore the more sensual side of anthropomorphic fiction. His work is characterized by extremely masculine characters comfortable with their orientation. He has a penchant for devising nicknames for his characters that have a quite complicated origin, often referring to anatomical uniquities. Alex Vance credits Red with the concept of the Heat and Rut drugs featured in his Maranatha series.
