Your resource on what the Furry Writers’ Guild has been up to, and what’s coming up soon!
NEW NOW!
October is Furry Book Month, and the guild has a book bundle available!
The complete bundle contains ten novels written by guild members, available for a minimum of $11. The SFW-only bundle contains only the seven novels from the complete bundle that are appropriate for general audiences, available for a minimum of $8.
At the end of the month, the bundles go away forever, so don’t forget to grab one now!
The bundles help both the authors included and the guild. At the end of the month, we split the revenue evenly among authors, with one share also going to the guild. This helps fund the Cóyotl Awards.
If you’re a guild member with a book you’d like included in next year’s bundle, keep an eye out here and on guild socials for the submissions announcement, which usually happens around late August or early September.
UPCOMING
Looking ahead to the new year, the Cóyotl Awards start gathering recommended reading lists in January. This is a good time to start really diving into your to-read pile.

Markets Manager Chase Anderson released a new guide in July, How Book Publishing Works. It’s helpful for both new and established writers!
If you’re in the market for a professional audiobook narrator but aren’t sure how to find one, at the end of 2025 we partnered with the Union of British Columbia Performers to bring guild members access to some excellent voice talent! Take a look at the page to find out how it works! Some of the voice talents available (just a few from a stupendous list) are Screen Actors Guild member Katelyn Gault (Fenneko from Aggretsuko) and UBCP member Graham Hamilton (Bodi from Rock Dog 2 & 3).
