Allan B. Anderson is the author of the novel A Deal in the Darkness, the first book in The Last Chronicle of Azureden series, and has short stories appearing in the anthologies The Dark Dozen and Spooky Halloween Drabbles 2014.
Allan’s lifelong love of animals continues to lead him through many walks of life, and contributed to the desire to attain his degree in animal biology and behavior. Paired with a degree in Fine Arts, and the many experiences from working with zoos, farms, and kennels, this potent mix of scientific knowledge and artistic flourish helped create the settings, characters, and themes in many of his works.
As an eagle scout, Allan enjoys new experiences and traveling among the great outdoors. Inside, he an avid model collector and painter. Though he writes about many animals in his works, from birds and reptiles, to mammals and fish, If you were to ever ask him what his favorite was, he would simply respond “Canines” because its just too hard for him to decide between dogs, wolves, foxes, and everything in between.
